On a serious note.

I am settling into myself.

No matter how hard I squint,

light washes sticky bedroom walls

and his green eyes are so pretty even

when I am gasping for life.

I am unsettling away from myself.

Now matter how easy it is to keep eyes wide open

darkness marks territory in the gnawed sofa

and his eye bags are so buried

even I am depressing death.

I have nothing serious to say.
